We sincerely appreciate the overwhelming interest shown by young innovators, activists, and community leaders across Kenya in partnering with us through the Fixing the Nation’s Democracy through the Young Voices for Change Project (Utu Project).
We received a large number of thoughtful and inspiring project proposals centered on Utu as a guiding principle — promoting dialogue, unity walks, social justice, good governance, equity, human rights, freedom of speech, and inclusive democracy.
Please note that the application deadline has now passed. Submissions closed on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 12:00 GMT.
We have moved into the review and evaluation phase of all received applications. Our team is carefully assessing the proposals based on their alignment with the project’s objectives, potential for sustainable impact, and commitment to amplifying young voices for positive change.
Successful applicants will be contacted directly in the coming weeks. Due to the high volume of submissions, we kindly ask for your patience during this period.
